My name is Anna Young and this is my blog! I began designing and crafting jewelry in 2005 in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. I have always loved beads, anything that sparkles, and creating accessories out of vintage and natural materials. You can currently find my work at Roulette Vintage in Carrboro, NC, and at Turnstyle Boutique in Richmond, VA.
I have always loved making jewelry. However lately my passion for hand-made, artisan goods has led me to explore options for refining my technique and expanding my knowledge of different crafts. I am currently living in Waynesvile, North Carolina, attending Haywood Community College. During my time there I am taking classes in their professional fiber arts program, while waiting to be accepted into their professional jewelry program. I am nurturing skills in sewing, screen printing and dyeing, among other things! I love collaborating with and promoting local artists, while maintaining a focus on eco-friendly materials and sustainability. This blog is a documentation of my adventures in arts and crafts. I hope you enjoy.
